Getting a simple game to work is all about getting the basics absolutely right. Case in point: Polar Panic. It's a very, very simple game that easily could have been done (with crappier graphics) on the Atari 2600, but tight controls combined with a "just one more game" addictiveness make this one a fun game to play on those cold winter nights...
