Finally, finally we can move on to the fourth of five worlds: The Distant Spring awaits! It's a very watery area, which means we're relying heavily on our blue Pikmin here. β INFORMATION ABOUT "PIKMIN":
Released in 2001 for the Nintendo GameCube, Pikmin introduced a brand new type of gameplay experience: a real-time strategy puzzle adventure wrapped in a world of adorable plant creatures. Developed by Shigeru Miyamoto and his team at Nintendo EAD, the game blended time management, environmental exploration and combat in a way that was both relaxing and stressful - in the best way possible. It was one of the first titles to show off the GameCube's capabilities, and it left a lasting impression on fans of unique and emotional gameplay.
In Pikmin, you play as Captain Olimar, a space traveler who crash-lands on a mysterious, Earth-like planet after an asteroid collision. With only 30 in-game days to repair his ship before his life support runs out, Olimar must rely on the help of the Pikmin - small, color-coded plant creatures with distinct abilities - to retrieve his lost ship parts. Managing your Pikmin army wisely is key: you'll need to fight enemies, navigate terrain, solve puzzles, and keep your little helpers safe from danger.
In this 100% Let's Play, we're going for all 30 ship parts across every area, all while keeping as many Pikmin alive as possible! We'll explore the lush Forest of Hope, the tricky Distant Spring and more as we uncover every secret and piece of debris. Whether you're reliving this GameCube classic or discovering it for the first time, join me as we pluck, throw and command our way to survival!
