This is a boss that screws over muscle memory

Difficulty: 3/10
This fight is easy so long as you realize you DO NOT FIGHT IT LIKE THE PIKMIN 1 VERSION. In that version you needed to throw a pikmin in it's mouth to choke it activating the weak point. Here the suction is a warning followed by a powerful vacuum that'll suck up a bunch of pikmin and your captain, even ripping them off Oatchi. He'll devour some of them but shoot the rest out in a giant snowball which as far as I know won't kill pikmin but it will make them cold. On top of that there are three frozen generators around the arena making it too cold for your blue or newly acquired white pikmin to realistically survive because they need to stay on Oatchi to not becometoo cold and freeze to death. Once they're destroyed the arena cools down to survivable levels and the boss will have a significant defense drop then you can get to attacking the boss. The missed snowballs cause ice to fall from the ceiling that will kill pikmin and block off parts of the arena but it's ultimately not too hard.
