A random single-player round of Pinbot for the Nintendo Entertainment System by Rare based on the pinball machine of the same name by Williams.

Pinbot is a fairly accurate reproduction of its real-world counterpart, with a few twists added. The gameplay is as expected with any pinball game; simply use the flippers to hit the ball around and rack up as many points as possible while trying not to lose the ball down the drain.

There is a minor stage objective in Pinbot in which players must light up a 5-by-5 grid to open the robot's visor. Once the visor is open, the ball can be shot into either ramp in the center to activate the "partial link-up." Shooting the ball into the other ramp will activate multiball which doubles the values of all targets on the field. If one of the balls makes it into one of the center ramps, the game will request for the player to "shoot for solar value" in which the player must shoot the ball up the left-most ramp to progress to the next stage.

While each level is identical the the previous, aside from the color pallet used, each stage introduces its own hazard. For example, stage 2 features an annoying cloud enemy that can eat the ball if it gets stuck in its mouth.
