Welcome to Around The Tech Episode 10: Ping and Tab. This week's new was headlined by Apple's Septemeber 1st media event. The iPod line has been completely revamped with a touch screen nano, belt clip style shuffle, and a retina screen touting, dual camera shooting touch. Apple also released iTunes 10 with their Ping social network and announced a new, $99 cloud based Apple TV.

In other news, Samsung revealed their Galaxy Tab: a 7inch tablet with Android 2.2 Froyo, Flash, and a front facing camera for video chat. T-Mobile confirmed the HTC G2, which sports a full keyboard and HSPA+ support. A Telcel executive has commented on revised iPhone 4 hardware for September 30th. Nintendo also announced a price drop on both their DSI and DSI XL among many stories this week.
