Pingu Getting "Nailed" for 1 Minute
That one "questionable" scene from the 1986 Pingu pilot where Pingu lands on a nail set by Pingg that is somehow only able to burst his ball and not impale him, looped to play for one minute.
You might think I'm making a big deal out of this one little scene, but how lucky is Pingu that the nail was only able to puncture his ball but not stab him when it was near his chest?! If you had something as sharp as a nail impaled through your chest, you'd be dead immediately! Of all the ways Pingg could have stopped Pingu from bouncing on the ball forever, he had to use a method that wouldn't look out of place in a Saw movie or a Mortal Kombat game! Also, for "A Story for Preschool Children", this is one unsuitable moment, as the punctured ball can easily be misinterpreted as blood by some younger viewers! Good thing this scene wasn't included in the real pilot episode, Hello Pingu (or Pingu is Introduced)!
