In racing the cars setup and the data provided by the car after driving can be extremely valuable information to a race team. We sim racers often take this for granted and click away making changes often unaware of the gains and losses of those changes. One way that a real life racing team keeps track of this endless amounts of data is by keeping a logbook for each track that they drive.

In this video Shaun Cole of the Simpit shows you his logbook and the type of information he keeps for the DW12 Indycar on iRacing.
