We recently found out that the game was updated so that you start with 10,000 instead of 100,000 in Survival. This means that you can no longer buy a bunch of weapons and defense to easily fight your way. Also, most importantly for achievement hunters, this meant that Magnate achievement would not unlock until you actually build up 50,000.


Note: The Magnate achievement used to unlock as soon as you started the game because you had 100,000 and the requirement was to have 50,000.


This updated guide shows you a general strategy for gathering money in Survival so you can earn the Magnate achievement and survive long enough to get all of the achievements related to this mode.
