PixelPlush Parachute Drop Stream Overlay Game with Channel Points!
Parachute Drop (in Beta): https://www.pixelplush.dev/beta.html?type=parachute
This is a project we created in PixelPlush for the 2021 Twitch Channel Points Hackathon! https://devpost.com/software/pixelparachute
Parachute down the stream and see if you can land on the target for the highest score! We took our most popular stream overlay game and created a channel points-activated version for this hackathon. Our game is already active in hundreds of channels each month with thousands of players, and with the magic of channel points, it can now allow viewers to join in each round as a loyal viewer reward, which can be useful since many streamers sometimes use the game to do live giveaways and pick the top-scoring player as the winner, and to enable the ability to sprinkle bouncing ball obstacles using channel points when in the past, it was only available through Twitch bit cheers.
Parachute Drop is a fun and minimally-intrusive stream overlay game played during even the most active segments of a live stream, and viewers are launched with a parachute from the top of the screen and bounce and collide with each other on the way to the bottom of the screen with the goal of landing as close to the center of the target as possible. It features many different game themes to choose from only requires a simple one-time browser source link created through our website to set up and any streamer can use the PixelPlush link generator and log in using their Twitch account to get an overlay URL with the selected options and then add it to their broadcast software as a browser source. Players can also purchase Plush Coins on our website to use on character skins and pets in this game and others or view the game leaderboard for enabled channels.
The channel points redemptions are automatically created in the channel for the broadcaster when the overlay is shown and the broadcaster or channel moderators can use the chat command !deleteparachute to clear all of the created redemptions or !resetparachute to delete and re-create the redemptions in case of errors. After the redemptions have been created, the broadcaster is also able to use the Manage Rewards menu in Twitch at any time to change the cost and cooldown of the redemptions or to customize them with icons. Additional chat commands include !drophigh !droplow !droprecent !droptop to show the channel's leaderboard scores in the Twitch chat, and !queuedrop and !startdrop to allow everyone to enter and then start the drop at the same time.
