The end is nigh.
*=!!SPOILERS FOR A BUNCH OF INCLUDING THE END OF SCOUTDIGO NO PROMISES BELOW THIS POINT!!=*

So, you've unlocked Flopside. You've (probably) gotten all the upgrades you possibly can. You've beaten the Gauntlet and have used all your Blood, Sweat and Tears to get to this point. What else is there to do? After all, your Destati progress is at 98%, so surely there's something left to do...

Well, after Super Jumping up from Flopside, you'll soon escape Earth's atmosphere, and reach the penultimate level of this mod: *His Domain.*

In essence, this level is The Gauntlet, but with one catch; you have an unhindered, fully awakened, shining Pizzaface (known as Destatiface by the developers) chasing after you. Almost all level obstacles are removed (with some exceptions), and you are granted 50 'auto-parries' that trigger whenever you touch or parry Destatiface (including if you parry nearby enemies that are 'connected' to him.

Surely, with all this challenge, it must be impossible, right? Only 50 parries, with all these levels to spare? This has to be a joke, right...?

Well... not exactly. Once you reach it and go through the first time, you'll soon find a new set of upgrades in Destati; 'Once More'. For every tier, you increase your auto-parry amount by 25, up to a maximum of 250. They cost a lot; but at this point, you can probably get the remnants just from a few full trips through Floor 5 on Normal and Death Mode on every level, especially with all the multiplier upgrades.

With 250 auto-parries, the challenge becomes more than possible; it is still quite challenging, given the circumstances, but success is most certainly within reach if you know what you're doing. Get all your upgrades, know the floors, master your move set, and keep your cool, and you'll eventually reach the end.

I've got a few more thoughts with regards to strategies and what to do & improve over in a Pastebin here, if you'd like to read. I was gonna put it here, but this description was getting too long for YouTube.

Once you have made it through all 23 levels, and finally put Destatiface's terror to an end, you will reach the game's ending (added as of v0.7.1), and finally have finished Scoutdigo: No Promises. In addition, after clearing His Domain, you will be granted a new set of upgrades in your Destati; they aren't particularly important, but they are quite a fun reward for beating the game. I'll let that be a secret reward for you to find for yourself; just be warned, it's quite expensive, so you might have to do a few more runs of His Domain to get it -- go for the time bonus!

Now, you might be wondering; what are my thoughts on the mod?

Well, after playing for about 73 hours, even before v0.7/the hotfix came out, I can say it's probably some of the most fun I've had with Pizza Tower in a long time. Yes, the old version was rather grindy, and could have done with some balance patches on release (and has since vastly improved; starting fresh is way easier now), and it being incomplete is noticeable at times, but to be honest, I don't really mind.

The whole experience -- getting upgrades, improving on levels, breaking the game, was so much fun. The grindiness sure as hell doesn't make it a 'bad mod'; just because it's grindy, and in some cases, including this challenge, pretty hard, that's not much of a reason to declare the whole mod as awful and pass off the work of many contributors as little more than 'slop' (a term I have grown to hate); it's rather crude and hateful, to say the least.

I love this mod to tears, and I'm really happy I was able to see it the whole way through, even despite its cancellation and unfinished state. I'll happily await for any further balance changes or additions to the mod, whether they come or not. And after the hotfix's many improvements, I definitely think it's worth starting and completing. Maybe it's for you, maybe it's not. But I think No Promises will always hold a place in my heart as a truly special mod, and a grand rogue-lite experience.

If you've somehow spoiled yourself on all this, having not played the mod, and are still interested in playing it knowing all this now, go and get it here; you'll need DeltaPatcher to do so, but it works on the latest version of Pizza Tower just fine.

And, if you enjoyed watching, feel free to throw me a coffee or two. Writing this out and playing this all was a very enjoyable experience; I might go back and show off all the floors being P-ranked with max upgrades at some point, if people really wanna see that.
