Upon arriving at the Lower Ward I lose a party member. I explore for a bit and do a side quest whilst making enquiries about how to get Morte back. I also do some shopping in the Lower Ward market.

FYI settings for this run were difficulty 4, no full heal on rest and no max HP on level up. Oh and no mouse cursor, my bad, this does get fixed later in the run, apologies if it bothers you.
