Planet Patrol (Atari 2600)
0Spectravision's Planet Patrol is fairly addictive. You have to kill enemy spaceships, dodge their missiles, rescue downed pilots in the black ship, destroy the enemy fueling depots, dodge the mines when the depots are taken care of, and then refuel. Oh and the night missions require you to fire to see- and continual shooting depletes your fuel, making it impossible to shoot when you run out. Hitting the difficulty switch on your Atari makes you a bigger target, while modes 1 and 2 make you move slower, and modes 3 and 4 make you move faster. Odd modes are one-player while even modes are two-player alternating.
