Circling to the back of the Arid Sahara Sands section of the zoo, with the Scimitar-Horned Oryx. I wanted to try and keep a consistent visual theme to these two enclosures, while making each of them a little interesting and unique. While the Addax had old, weathered battlements the Oryx habitat has craggy rock plateaus that they venture out on in order to get at their enrichment items.

All of this work gets expensive, so in order to fund it we've thrust the zoo further into debt with a $20,000 loan. We've also expanded our personnel in order to take care of our growing population of animals. But we're turning a healthy profit every month so I'm sure it'll all work out...right?
