Plants vs. Zombies 2 - Battlez: Week 35 Fire Peashooter - 2.73 Million (No Premium picks)
5A more refined version of my original Free to Play (F2P) strategy using Dusk Lobber (DL) and Shadow Peashooter (SP) as the pimary damage dealers, along with Primal Potato Mine (PPM) for support and crowd control. Hamster Balls are still not directly countered, but are kept at bay as in my original video (link below). But now, I always try to have at least 1 PPM on the board right before or when they spawn. Also, in case the Ball gets past column 6, I plant SP in the tile to the left of the Ball, so that when it breaks, the Jester will be immediately killed. I've been averaging 2.4-2.5 million with this strategy, but it isn't easy because of all the things to pay attention to and the timings can be precise. All Plant Food is used on PPM.
I'll try to explain the timings:
At the beginning, plant DL as fast as possible in empty left tiles, eventually replacing the Fire Peashooters. Right after the first Primal Potato Mine (PPM) explodes, plant another in its place right away. After reaching about 1000 sun, begin replacing Moonflowers in column 5 with SP in every other row. Plant another PPM in column 8 when it's ready, which is about when the first set of portals appear.
The portals mess up column 7, so in the new empty tiles, put Chard Guard (CG) and SP. Put PPM in an empty tile of column 8. Replace destroyed DLs. Continue putting CG and SP in empty column 7 tiles until you can keep up with the zombies, then replace destroyed SP to the left of that column.
After the first Gargantuar almost reaches column 8, put PPM + Plant Food immediately, to help with the Hamster Balls and the Garg. Do the same with the 2nd set of Gargs (PPM + PF) OR you can save the PF for later. When the next Hamster Brawl happens, definitely do PPM + PF. If you saved the PF you can use it at the end for potentially a lot of points.
