Difficult Free to Play (F2P) strategy that is more refined than my original from the Practice Room and working in actual Battlez. Because zombies have more health, I use Shrinking Violet to weaken Coneheads at the very start. I still try to use all Plant Food on Violet, to target large groups and Gargantaurs, but use it on Spear-mint if a Hamster Ball is about to get past column 8. However, I only do this during the first half of the match, after that I think it's best saved for Violet for higher scores; by this time you'll be able to break them by column 7 with firepower, and you can launch a mower if one gets past, typically in the top or bottom row. In preparation before starting, it may be more effective to substitute 1 Dusk Lobber with 5 Violets in columns 8 and 9, in a staggered formation.
I want to note scores can vary a lot due to RNG factors. For example, sometimes Moonflower will generate so little sun at the beginning and a Knight spawns in a row without Violet and I don't have enough sun for Winter Melon. He may reach column 7 and this seems to slow down zombie spawning and overall spawn numbers for the rest of the match.
