Plaque is a short minimalist first-person-shooter heavily inspired by 90s era games like Quake.

However the aesthetics also refer to classic 2d games with limited color palettes, repeating tile patterns, heavy use of black for backgrounds to fade into and of course pixelisation. The gameplay is deliberately kept very simple and revolves around finding keys, opening doors and shooting monsters. The mood of the game is dark, gritty and nightmarish.
