I've never really played a platformer or metroidvania before and decided to finally try Hollow Knight. Needless to say, it's a masterpiece and also needless to say, the White Palace and specifically Path of Pain was going to be a brutal crash course in the genre. And indeed, 3 hours of antics and anguish later, it was done and I was better.
