Play It Fast #16: BATB double feature - Part I

this is a new episode of Play It Fast featuring two games in one: Beauty And The Beast Roar Of The Beast & Belle's Quest for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.
Why two games? One is for boys (Roar Of The Beast), one for girls (Belle's Quest). Stupid idea since both game are really short and would probably have fit on one catridge.
The "boys" version is more action oriented as you control the beast and fight your way through various settings based on the movie. It's an average game but A LOT better than the crapfest on the SNES 'cause it's got better controls and hence is a lot easier to beat. Still the controls could have been improved.
The "girls" version is more like a puzzle game with some very easy platform elements. It also contains a maze level in which you can easily spend hours if you don't get the hang of it (I'm dead serious!) as well as a pretty fast self scrolling level in which the controls suck very hard!
Both games also contain stupid and pointless bonus stages which I've cut out since they serve no purpose at all.
