Hi everyone,

after more than a year it's finally done - a new episode of Old School Game Reviews!
This time around I have a look at Beauty And The Beast for the SNES or as I like to call it "Beauty And The Almost Impossible To Control Beast"

It's a typical movie license game with the typical movie license game problems: While the graphics and sound are really good the controls are completely fucked up and therefor the game is almost impossible to beat! Also due to the overly high difficulty the developers seem to have missed their target audience completely. Actually this game is based on a kid's movie but it's so hard that only harcore gamers MIGHT be willing to finish it. But which hardcore gamer would play a game based on a Disney movie?

Overall a failure and a sure candidate for the B-rating...
