First part of the Genesis/Mega Drive version of Aladdin. The run is quite decent yet I could have made some improvements here and there as I get hit quite a lot and because of this I actually lose a life at one point!

As usual this run does not make use of savestates, slowdowns, cheats or any other helping tools but shows how the game is supposed to be played as fast as possible.

This version of Aladdin is completely different from the SNES version (which I already did a speedrun for) which may be considered both good and bad. I personally think that both games are very fun platformers which sadly are rather short once you get to know them a little bit.

A definite improvement over the SNES game is that you can use a sword as an additional weapon to the apples which you throw at enemies. They're primarily used at boss fights which you can see here when I battle Captain Razhoul :)
