In a recent girls varsity match against Wood Cross High, Manu knees Makenzie Clark in the face while she was down on the filed. No foul was called on the play while Clark was left being carried off the pitch by her teammates. Manu has apologized, saying "I let my emotions get the best of me and I took it too far. And I just want to apologize to (Makenzie) and everyone. I'm sorry."
