Taking place at the Vicente Calderon, Espana took the early lead with off the corner kick when Xavi's cross found Ramos's hit, the ball hit the post, Pedro's shot was saved by Hugo Lloris, but Ramos roofed one into the back of the net. Late sub Olivier Giroud provided the equalizer as Francisco Juanfran carelessly turned the ball over, Sissokho fed Franck Ribery who crossed to Giroud. Spain and France sit atop Group I with 7 points apiece.
