Playing DOOM in 2D isometric view with DRSGME mod - Knee-Deep in the Dead playthrough UV 4K
121(English below) Gameplay completo del icónico primer episodio de Doom, Knee-Deep in the Dead, con el mod DRSGME por dileep_vr, el cual permite jugar a Doom 1 y 2 con cámara isométrica, con GZDoom en un modo de proyección ortográfica para lograr una vista en 2D (o eso he entendido). Afortunadamente se puede rotar la cámara, lo cual es fundamental a la hora de jugar.
Siempre busco nuevas formas de jugar a Doom, y esta ha sido sin duda una de las más originales. Aunque creo que este no es un mod para usar con mapas que no te conozcas bien, pues se puede hacer realmente complicado orientarte a veces, además de aumentar la dificultad debido al control. Knee-Deep in the Dead es muy fácil en dificultad Ultra-Violence, pero jugando así he estado al borde de la muerte en varias ocasiones.
NOTA: ahora resulta que el tema musical At Doom's Gate del primer mapa E1M1 tiene copyright en YouTube (antes no era así), así que repetí este mapa pero con la versión del tema de 3DO. En E1M2 continúo con el gameplay que grabé antes con la música midi original. No me apetecía repetirlo todo otra vez para que la música fuese toda de la misma versión de la OST.

Full gameplay of the iconic first episode of Doom, Knee-Deep in the Dead, with the DRSGME mod by dileep_vr, which allows to play Doom 1 and 2 with isometric camera, with GZDoom in an orthographic projection mode to achieve a 2D view (or so I've understood). Fortunately you can rotate the camera, which is essential when playing.
I'm always looking for new ways to play Doom, and this has certainly been one of the most original. Although I think this is not a mod to use with maps that you do not know well, because it can be really complicated to orient yourself sometimes, in addition to increasing the difficulty due to the control. Knee-Deep in the Dead is very easy on Ultra-Violence difficulty, but playing this way I've been on the verge of death on several occasions.
NOTE: now it turns out that the At Doom's Gate theme song from the first map E1M1 is copyrighted on YouTube (it wasn't before), so I replayed this map but with the 3DO version of the theme. In E1M2 I continue with the gameplay I recorded before with the original midi music. I didn't feel like repeating it all over again so that the music was all from the same version of the OST.
