Today on Valve News Network, we take a look at a recent leak of a pre-release build of Half-Life Alyx that kept in all internal non-VR testing tools and commands still built in. These tools now allow modders to create non-VR mods for Half-Life Alyx much faster than previously thought. In fact, with the right files and noclip bound to a key, it's possible to play most of the game using Half-Life 2's weapon-set, however, the question needs to be asked, is it even good?
