Playing Impossible Creatures
5Impossible Creatures is a real-time strategy game released in 2003. It was developed by Relic (the same what works on the Warhammer 40k universe RTS games), and published by Microsoft. It's long been one of my favorites, ever since getting a CD copy at a Best Buy back in the day. I haven't played many games that had mechanics even remotely similar. It's very unique! If you are a fan of highly customizable and challenging strategy games, I'd very much recommend checking it out on Steam. Probably my favorite part of the game is the voice acting. While cheesy, it provides a mood most games could only dream of. Am I viewing this game through heavily nostalgia-tinted lenses? Absolutely, but I still feel this game holds up very well.
