Playing KILEAK THE DNA IMPERATIVE in 2024 || PS1 Launch Title
Fake's Rating: 5/10
Kileak is the first fps on the Playstation 1 (in the US). You pilot a mech through various levels, fighting against enemy robots with your growing arsenal. The game uses tank controls.
REVIEW: I kinda skipped the story in this video; so hopefully I'll come back to edit this with my thoughts--
Compared to games we're spoiled with today, Kileak The DNA Imperative is very basic. You wander around maze-like corridors (that go on for FAR too long) that all look the same, and shoot at copy and pasted enemies.
The music is repetitive, but catchy as heck. The controls are floaty with little to no options to adjust; using the tank controls to try to aim at the small enemy targets can get frustrating as they widdle down your limited health.
Overall, I didn't hate it. I don't mind tank controls, and I plan on finishing the game. If I recall correctly, there's a sequel that was also released for the PS1.
This video is a chill casual Let's Play (LP) of the retro game Kileak: The DNA Imperative (Kileak: The Blood) (1995) for the Playstation 1 (PS1 / PSX), recorded in 1080p (HD).
Heya, I'm Fake, I am an artist, animator, solo developer, and vtuber content creator! I say dumb, and sometimes funny things. People tell me about how they like that I'm a content creator with a deep asmr style voice, and that I'm a vtuber that is easy to fall asleep listening to; if you're into that kind of thing.
I play all sorts of video games! I especially love Action RPGs if you have any recommendations, and currently, I am attempting to play through EVERY (english) PS1 game in an effort to find HIDDEN GEMS!
