Playing Marvel Heroes in 2024!
150So aside from Marvel Avengers Alliance, one of the biggest losses when it came to Marvel related games has been Marvel Heroes. A game that was fraught with issues during it's release window in 2013 but got its act together in a major way within about a year or so. It was a game that had some genetics in Diablo 2 and one that did a LOT of things right as a Marvel Game. Sadly, shortly after hitting consoles, the game died and Gazillion would wind up screwing over its employees on their way to the dumpster. Will there be a spark of life for this loved game?
The answer is yes. Crypto137 is working on bringing Marvel Heroes back. I've known about the server emulator for some time now but didn't pull the trigger on trying it out until this weekend. So far, it's very raw. It's kind of like a walking simulator at this point but it's being actively worked on and will hopefully get back to the MH we loved when it died in 2017.
