I had a hiccough halfway through the video where OBS stopped recording the screen. I believe it had to do with the actual game being too old than OBS just being dumb.
I thought about ending the video right there, it was a good ending spot. I also don't like youtube videos being over 20 minutes long. But that clutch I made at 28:19, I just had to keep it in. So I ported the Beta 1.8.1 world into the most recent version and tried to act out the scenes.
I learned a lot from this video. For one, commentary is surprisingly difficult. Watching through the video there were parts where a normal youtube would have narrated their thoughts, while I was keeping silent since I normally don't just say everything I'm thinking.
Another thing I learned is that Youtubing is legitimately a full-time job. I spent 6 hours on this... The actual recording was only an hour or so. But with the editing, and then the event recreation, I was surprised the day had basically ended by the time I was done—uploading the video. I understand now why Youtubers often get editors.
