4What's up pudding cups! In this video I am trying to get comfortable and familiar with making video game videos.
This is a video of Minecraft gameplay with a voice-over commentary.
The closed captions for this video are hand-typed by me. In the closed captions I use perentheses (like this) to note an action (like coughing or laughing), or a difference in what I said vs what I meant (like pronounciations of words/names). I use astericks *like this* to note emphasis.
I want to make some Let's Plays soon but I wanted to sort-of test the waters first. I don't actually know what counts as a Let's Play and what doesn't... But what I mean is that soon I want to make videos where you can see me while I play. In this video, you can't, and it is intentional.
In this video I am playing Minecraft Java Edition on Survival Mode on Peaceful Mode.
I am making a house.
I'm playing from my laptop. I am using a plug-in mouse with it because I figured that would be easier with the controls than the track pad, and that was so true for me.
Yes, I've realized the typo on the one sign in the game, haha.
I might play more of this Minecraft world for YouTube in the future.
I might do more voice-over gaming videos sometimes but it won't be my go-to style.

The game is Minecraft Java Edition.
I've recorded the game footage with the free version of Streamlabs Desktop.
I've recorded the voice-over by taking a video with my laptop's camera app. I did this by watching the video with headphones on while also taking a video of myself talking. I then used the audio from the video of myself.
I used Microsoft Clipchamp to edit this video.
In the thumbnail is my pink Skull Candy headphones, and my VX Gaming light-up, color changing mouse and black mouse pad. Skull Candy no longer makes those specific headphones. The mouse and mouse pad are from FYE, I bought them with a light-up, rainbow keyboard, all in the same box.
