Playing With Fire | Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (Firefighter Sim)
120Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is a game where we become a firefighter, which of course means we dash into burning buildings to put out fires and rescue people!
On our firefighting journey we have to deal with a lot of different issues, ranging from unconscious victims and explosive items, through to electrical fires and chemical fires.
We control our character, in either first or third person, and we can a whole host of firefighter things, including the menial but important things, like attaching the hose from the fire hydrant to the fire engine.
That's a formality really because the main action is where we enter the burning buildings. Using our extensive range of tools we can crack open doors, smash down walls, check for heat sources using infra-red and even use a hose to put out fires!
We also control our team members. We can get them to all work together on the same job, for example putting out the fire, or we can individually assign them jobs, such as search and rescue.
Oh and we get to drive the fire engine, which is amazing.
And we have a hat.
And there's a dog.

But stay alert for signs of imminent danger, like thick smoke finding its way through closed doors and presenting the potential for a major disaster.
But don’t worry: you can learn how to fight fire and the use your tools properly back at the fire station hub, which serves as your headquarters between emergency operations. Relax between missions, inspect the large vehicle fleet that includes faithfully recreated trucks from Rosenbauer, and choose your next assignment.
