Another lil' experiment, with both realism and colours in mind. I may retexture the Gecko later on to some more natural colours and see what that results in (if I do I'll add a link below). The biggest goal for this piece was to work on anatomy and skin textures, along with making the facial proportions and curves a bit more realistic. It seems I've got a habit of making cartoony eyes.

I used a variety of different reference images of this, mostly Leopard Geckos but not exclusive to, so in terms of shapes and proportions this Gecko may look like a hybrid (I'm not an expert on Geckos).

On a toootttaaalllyy unrelated note... has anyone noticed how the body of this Gecko is similar to a Nightfury? ;D
