Hello everyone, in today's video I wanted to showcase the 3 different types of PlayStation 2 cases throughout the console's life.
There's also a guide to upgrading your damaged cases and removing stickers hassle-free! Hope you enjoy.

The years that had the different cases.
1st cases in the year 2000 (Most launch titles) didn't come with either a memory card holder or a PlayStation logo.
2nd cases ranging from the years 2001 and 2006 for the most part had a memory card holder inside the case.
3rd cases from the years 2007 and until the consoles end of life 2013 had a PlayStation logo in place of the memory card holders.

I'm a PlayStation 2 archivist for the NTSC region, that covers United States, Canada and Mexico
region for video games. I've been collecting PS2 since 2005 and heavily since 2018. I currently
own every black label first print PlayStation 2 games, there's 1815 total games not including any
variants. I have a complete library of black label first print titles on the PS2 as well as a full set of Greatest Hits library with 296 titles excluding variants of a variant. In-addition to date just over 700 black label variants that are unique from the first print black labels that came out at release.
