Planet Laika (プラネットライカ) is an adventure/RPG game that developed by Quintet and published by Enix back in 1999, exclusively for the Japanese market and the Sony Playstation console system.

You are part of an expendition to Mars in order to discover the truth about rumors that have been going around, concerning the end of the world and the existence of a creature. You , as Laika, have multiple-personality disorder, and when talking to other characters, you will see an aura around them. Laika can absorb these auras, and therefore take on different personalities (for puzzle solving).

The RPG elements can be met in very special occassions and while you are in an "alter ego" form . All you have to do is deflect enemy projectiles. Quite unusual for a game of this genre.
