PS VR2 Sony’s president recently went on record that they would be more aggressive to bring playstation to pc
And while many of us just thought this meant playstation exclusives on pc
a recent post on the sony blog shows this will also extend to hardware
The blog post states “we are pleased to share wer are current;y testing for ps vr2 to access additional games on pc” “we hope to make this support available in 2024”
This is huge as now the ps vr2 is trying to carve a piece of the vr gaming market
And is no longer just a ps5 peripheral
Hopefully this means the headset will be fully unlocked pc compatible and not only a per game basis
This will greatly increase the consumer value of investing in the headset
Next they should make the playstation portal compatible with streaming pc games to enter the pc handheld market assuming you have a good network connection
