2Rumor has it that a PlayStation showcase has been set for May According to a rumor from Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb which again this man has not missed of the last calendar year whenever he's reported that like a big showcase or an event is about to happen it happens Sony is planning to host a PlayStation event either a state of play or a showcase in May The highlight of this event is speculated to be highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 remake with the remake being developed by Bloober team for both PlayStation and PC The game was officially announced in October of to confirming the revival of the beloved franchise Recent ratings by the ESRB suggest that the release date of Silent Hill 2 remake might be revealed soon Considering Sony's previous major event the January State of Play it's not surprising that they would want to follow up with another event in May
