PlayStation Users BANNED & LittleBigPlanet Servers DOWN! | LBP3 Moderation Purge #shorts
1,485A bunch of Playstation accounts just got banned because of an exploit in LittleBigPlanet and the servers for the game were just taken offline to investigate.
A few dozen players on LittleBigPlanet 3 for PS4 were hit with false ban reports that lead to some getting their PlayStation Network suspended for up to 60 days. These false reports were made by a modder exploiting the game and things escalated quickly within a 24 hour window.
People such as myself, notable level creators, and even LBP community manager Steven Isbell were affected by this mass moderation purge, but thankfully all accounts that were affected had their suspensions reversed and now the LBP3 servers are down as they figure out solutions.
Will the game get a patch for the first time in years to address these issues or will this lead to the servers being shut down for good. We’ll have to see.
