Given the codename ‘Spartacus’, the subscription service is essentially Playtation’s version of Xbox Game Pass, with sources saying it’ll have a “splashy lineup of hit games”, officially merging Playstation Plus with Playstation Now. This new service is reported to have multiple tiers, each offering more options depending on which you opt in for. The first tier will offer the same benefits as Playstation Plus, which will include online play and free games monthly. With the more expensive tiers, #Playstation is throwing in access to a game library very similar to Game Pass, and the most expensive tier including PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP game libraries. With the highest tier, you’ll also have the ability to stream games and play extended demos.
