Game summary: Verdant is a small turn-based strategy game. This game is a Ludum Dare 52 (72 hours) submission.

Game intro: For centuries the Wood has slept in peace. Now a mortal threat has settled on its shores. They fear the Wood, planting and tending to their meager crops. Slowly, however, greed and curiosity begin to win over, as they cast furtive glances at the dark line of trees, considering what strange and bountiful harvests they might make within.
