Thanks to Will's extraordinary power, winning at the Russian Glass is just a matter of observing the drinks. However, our hero has to witness a disconcerting scene, as his opponent, with only the poisoned drink left in front of him, decides to chug the lethal juice down despite the protests of the spectators.

Will later learns that the reason for the man's determination was an illness that would've killed him in a few months: because of that, he was amassing as much money as he could for his wife and child before his death. In his will it's written that the opponent who defeated him would inherit his Kruks; the hand of destiny plays in Will's favour, even if sometimes it works in tragic ways.

Leaving Watermia behind them, our friends travel through the desert and reach the city of Euro, where Neil's very rich parents live managing their Rolek company: they haven't seen each other in 3 years, but they still want Neil to inherit their company, so they keep trying to convince him. Meanwhile, Will explores the large city, observing both the nice and the ugly side of it
