The involvement of the Rolek company in shady business is revealed by the Teapot to be caused by people of the Moon Tribe, who were even impersonating Neil's parents. Realizing he'd already lost his father and mother long agon was a shock for Will's cousin, but thanks to his strong spirit Neil recovers quickly and decides to take over the company to set things straight and stop the slave trade.

This of course means Neil will be parting ways with Will and friends as well; now only Erik and Kara still tag along, but to everyone's surprise Hamlet, Kara's pet pig, joins the group before they leave for the next destination, a village near the ruins of Ankor Wat, which is also home of some of the laborers Will has met.
