The NFT-based game is centered on the idea of how humans would survive in an asteroid belt and deal with the logistical complexity of dealing with independently orbiting bodies.
Unstoppable Games is working to develop an "unstoppable game" that is impervious to control or revocation by a central authority. The contracts for the game are open, and players have ownership over the game's stewardship.
Unstoppable Games has sold collections of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for the game's 250,000 asteroids, generating over $5.5 million in revenue. With the new investment from StarkWare, Unstoppable Games plans to grow from a team of eight. Furthermore, Unstoppable is launching its game on desktops first, with a mobile experience planned for the future.
