Don’t buy the RX 7900 XTX, or more specifically the reference model and here’s why…

So while the 7900 XTX does tend to perform on par or slightly better than the 4080 in the majority of games for $200 less, unfortunately the reference model has a fairly mediocre design which leaves almost no overclocking headroom, and the GPU itself gets absolutely stomped in raytracing.

And while your favorite games today might not all have raytracing, it's quickly becoming the standard, and for single player games it makes a huge difference to visuals and immersion.

So if your into single player games it might be the wrong choice for you, and I definitely would avoid the reference models, which is why I am telling you
