18Please SHARE YOUR EMPIRES and join the STELLARIS GRAND AI Tournament (Lithoids / 2.5 Edition). It's a simple idea, like a robot tournament: You create an AI empire and share it with the community of this channel. We will stick it into a galaxy with 9 other participants where we battle out a winner - the winners from this are going to the Grand Final where they will battle each other for the ULTIMATE WIN!
You're welcome to join: No fees, rolling start, deadline January 5th 2020 (so we'll have this running soon and decided before the Federations DLC).

Setup: You Discord https://discord.gg/p9ajCn7 me up to 3 empires you have created for version 2.5x - NO MODS, RANDOM STARTING SYSTEM - I will run timelapses with “Standard Settings” - Size, Shape etc. - but no crisis, no fallen empires, only YOUR EMPIRES will participate, randomly pitted against each other. All victory conditions on.
There are multiple ways to give me your empire, I've had just colorful descriptions of people telling me about their dream empire to screenshots linked on the Paradox or Steam platforms. If you want to be on the safe side, make sure to give me a shot of the endscreen, so the basics are exactly as you want them. Pretty tolerant about the details, this is no 'pro' competition, even if some people here can design crazy efficient AI empires. Randomness in form of the galaxy composition and are will always set in and even the most bizarre empire designed to shoot itself in the foot has a good chance, as has been proven again and again. So dare to be creative!
HOW TO SUBMIT THE EMPIRES 'pro way' - will save me a ton of time and guarantees you empire is in completely as you wanted it:
1. Create an empire in Stellaris - include your Online Alias and a short strategy outline in the description.
2. In your folders, go to C:\Users\[your user name]\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\
(addition: Linux /.local/share/Paradox\ Interactive/Stellaris
Windows C:\Users\Username\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris
Mac OS /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris )
3. There you’ll find a file called user_empire_designs.txt (or just user_empire_designs - it’s a text file)
4. Double-Click on the document to open it with your text editor
5. Press “Control + F” to open up the search window
6. Enter part of your empire’s name and press the ENTER Key
7. You’ll see a data entry of your empire, there is the name in “hyphens” and then a bracket opens.
8. Place your cursor before the name in hyphens
9. Press Shift and hold it
10. Scroll down to the end of the entry “}” / right before the next one starts and click there
11. You have now selected your empire
12. Press Control + C to copy it
13. Use Control + V to paste it into the discord message, YouTube comment or Paradox Forum post you make
14. Send, participate, be happy
