3I decided to give Metal Slug Tactics a second chance, even though odds are against it. Few years of delay. Lack of obvious QA/Testing. Underwhelming unlock systems and game scope as it is. Like what's the point of trying out different loadouts? There is barely any difference, and pretty much all skills are already unlocked by default. 4th region feels undercooked. In reality, unlike ITB, it's 3 regions + "final area". Seems like my critique is quite similar to ones from steam reviews and independant game site reviewers. Future patches might fix and improve on some things, like font size / UI scaling and hotkeys, but I don't expect anything beyond that, and this is where you have to decide for yourself, is the game worth it for you?
