Steps:
1. Download Engine or Engine.ini file here:

(Or you can ask your friends to send you the engine file in the folder of step 3.)
2. Exit the Epic Games Launcher entirely by right-clicking on the tray icon and selecting Exit.
3. Navigate to the following directory (By launching an App called " Run ", then type in " %localappdata% "):
C:\Users\username}\AppData\Local\EpicGamesLauncher\Saved\Config\Windows
4. Copy and paste the downloaded Engine or Engine.ini file into the folder (skip this step if you already have the file).
5. Open the Engine.ini file in a text editor.
6. Edit the file to include the following:

ForceNonSslCdn=false

7. Save the file.
8. Try launching the Epic Games Launcher (as adminstrator).
