Big Game (2015) by Stuart Gibbs is the third installment in the FunJungle series, set in a Texas wildlife park. The story follows young detective Teddy Fitzroy, who faces a series of challenges when a gunshot targets Rhonda, an endangered rhinoceros, during his shift. As the park goes into high alert, Teddy teams up with his crush, Summer McCracken, to investigate the attack. Amidst the mystery, Teddy also tackles a candy and ice cream theft, leading him to suspect a clever orangutan. The investigation reveals a shocking twist: the real culprits are Athmani, a wildlife security specialist, and Hondo, the park’s head of security. They orchestrated the attack to scare the park owner into removing the rhinos’ horns and sell them on the black market. Teddy’s quick thinking and bravery ultimately expose the criminals and save the park.
