I was using my Japanese exclusive Game Boy Light console in which it was modded with a new clear yellow shell, a FunnyPlaying retro pixel IPS LCD, & Helder Game Tech’s power regulator to play Pocket Bomberman on it! The point of having Helder’s power regulator is to decrease some sound buzzing, hiss, of hum with an IPS LCD installed & even though it’s meant to be for the Game Boy Pocket, it also works on a Japanese Game Boy Light because the PCB for the Light is based on a Pocket mostly. The original power regulator is still present while the new Helder one is installed for this Game Boy Light in order to have access for the contract wheel made for adjusting the brightness of this IPS LCD.
