[Pod] Alderon
5My journey around the planet Io took me to Alderon, the ancient business district of New Colombus.
This track is very similar to Galleria, with a mixed and competitive raceline and a captivating artwork. The first part is a series of sharp corners. Try to keep an ideal path to take those corners as fast as possible without slipping. The second part features a broken bridge... No! Don't jump over it, your car is way too slow to jump over anyway. Take the detour route instead :)
The last part consists of two consecutive shortcuts. The first one (0:41) is pretty easy, just get enough speed to jump over the wall instead of going around. The second one (0:47) is more difficult than it looks, because if you forget to turn right at the exit... BAM! Into the wall.
My setup here is really close to the one I used in Galleria. Once again, put the minimum amount of handling, just enough to avoid crashing (I think 20-25 is a good range, 18 was the best I could put up with), and put the remaining points to grip and top speed.
