T14 Maze Map with 12 Minus Max and lots of monster that ignite + Beyond + Increased monster damage = not the best idea.

Fireball set up is for single target damage - 5L drop faster casting. With 6L chest, you can use anything from empower to increased burn damage - so the 6th gem is up to you. I like faster casting for the overall feel.

Core of the build is elementalist / proliferation / burn damage and Sire of Shards. The build is very flexible according to personal preference, so dont take my build as set in stone, there are a dozen changes you can do, and still maintain the spirit of this build.

Sire of Shards is just fun, I did try a GMP and +3 fire staff, but it felt like 100 other builds I've done.

Dying Sun flask is just luxury, not necessary. Atziri Flask + Wise Oak flask are cheap and very useful.
