PoE2: Will THIS nerf destroy the endgame?
80GGG is preparing a major change in Path of Exile 2: "removal of towers," tablet rework, disappearance of rare monsters... A nerf disguised as a rework?

In the old system, each tower covered an area of 15 cards, and up to three tablets could be placed there. Each tablet generally contained one or two effects, which means that in a single turn, between three and six effects could be applied to these 15 cards simultaneously. Furthermore, if several towers covered the same map, their effects would stack. For example, a card located at the intersection of three towers could receive up to nine different effects. With three or four well-placed towers, a total of 27 to 36 effects could be applied to a single area, which provided considerable strategic freedom and powerful optimization.
In the new system, towers have disappeared. Instead, effects are applied directly to each card, with a strict limit of 3 effects per card, with no possibility of stacking them. There are 3 tablets, each with 10 uses, for a total of 30 uses. Each effect used on a card consumes one use. Thus, to apply 3 effects to 10 different cards, you must use all 30 available uses, which means you cannot exceed these 3 effects per card, nor can you stack effects from multiple sources. This system severely limits strategy since spatial control and the ability to stack effects have disappeared.
In summary, in the old system, you could effectively cover multiple cards with a large number of stacked effects using 3 to 4 towers and their tablets. Now, with 3 tablets with 10 uses, you are limited to 3 effects per card and must manage them on a case-by-case basis. This represents a significant reduction in power and freedom of optimization, despite the marketing presentation that makes this seem like an improvement.
